Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi blessed the plan of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment to establish an electronic platform dedicated to supporting productive families, entrepreneurs and small and micro enterprises, stressing the importance of the project in strengthening the community economy and expanding the base of productive participation.
This came during his meeting today, Monday, May 5, 2025, with Engineer Moeen Al-Mahakri, Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, where the Prime Minister was briefed on the level of the ministry's general performance and the activities carried out during the past period.
The meeting discussed the technical and executive arrangements underway to launch the platform, which aims to enable productive groups to market their products and expand their access to markets, as part of the trend towards supporting microenterprises as a base for establishing sustainable business entities.
Minister Al-Mahakri explained that the ministry has started implementing the necessary technical procedures to finalize the platform as soon as possible, noting that it will be available free of charge to all concerned groups, including productive families, entrepreneurs, and small and micro enterprises.
He also emphasized that the services to create the "e-Trader Platform" will also be provided free of charge, in support of this vital segment, as part of the ministry's vision to stimulate the local economy through effective digital tools.
The Prime Minister praised the level of activity witnessed by the ministry, stressing that such initiatives contribute to simplifying procedures, promoting national products, supporting entrepreneurship, and enhancing the vital role of the middle class in revitalizing the national economy and achieving social stability.
