The Minister of Economy, Industry and Investment, Engineer Moeen Hashim Al-Mahakri, announced the ministry's commitment to address the challenges faced by the Saudi German Hospital in Sana'a and work to develop its medical services to meet the needs of citizens.
This came during a meeting chaired by the minister, where he listened to a detailed report from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Yemeni Medical Services Company, Fahd Abdulaziz, and the hospital's Executive General Manager, Dr. Abdullah Al-Daari, on the current conditions of the hospital and the challenges it faces.
Al-Mahakri emphasized that the hospital's infrastructure and capabilities make it qualified to be among the most prominent medical institutions in Yemen and the region, pointing out that the new investment law provides wide opportunities for local and international investors to develop the hospital, especially in light of the incentives and guarantees provided by the law to support medical investments.
The minister stressed the need to develop an urgent plan to address the obstacles facing the hospital, stressing that the ministry will work to sponsor a meeting of the board of directors to come up with a clear vision that contributes to the development of specialized medical services and reduce citizens' travel abroad in search of treatment.
For its part, the hospital's management expressed its appreciation for the interest of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Investment, emphasizing its commitment to enhancing and developing medical services, thus contributing to raising the level of health care in the country.
